A smuggler's life is never easy. Han Solo and his first mate, Chewbacca, learned that long before joining Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and their Rebel Alliance. In their quest to pay off a debt, Han and Chewie are caught between gangsters and the Empire. Chewie is held as collateral and forced to fight for survival, while Han is joined by his former partner, Billal Batross - an experienced, shady con artist - to complete an errand that will wipe out both Han and Billal's obligations to the mob. What could go wrong...? Han Solo and the Hollow Moon of Khorya is the first volume in the Star Wars Adventures series from Titan Books and follows one of the many adventures that Han Solo and Chewbacca had before the events that unfolded in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. No one ever said being a smuggler was easy. Before they ever met Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca had already lived a lifetime of adventures. In this action-packed tale, Han and Chewie are caught between gangsters and the Empire, and their only help is Han's former partner - who may be worse than either. The story and artwork are impressive enough, but I couldn't help thinking that £5 was a little too much for an A5 comic book with 71 pages of story. It's so small and thin that it actually felt more like something that would have been given away on the front of a magazine. While by no means an essential purchase, those who are interested in following Han and Chewie's adventures before A New Hope will find this an interesting way to waste an hour or two. 6 Nick Smithson Buy this item online |
