For years he has been the Dark Knight of Gotham City, watching his city from the shadows, weeding out its evil. Invisible, inviolate, he has never been corrupter or broken. Until now... Batman: The Cult collects the four-part miniseries which was originally printed in comic book form in 1989. Deacon Blackfire, a charismatic shaman with roots as old as Gotham City itself, has amassed the city's homeless into an army, one he seemingly uses to fight crime. But Blackfire has a hidden agenda, and he need the Batman in order to complete his quest. Batman must stop Blackfire's army of the homeless if he has any chance to save Gotham City. But when he is captured and made to see the light, who is left to stop Gotham falling into the hands of Blackfire? An interesting collection which takes readers to an area unexplored in the Batman universe before. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
