International Fighters features 11 famous aircraft each rendered in authentic paint schemes. Fans of modern aircraft get to control the following:

· AS 565 Panther - used for a wide range of military roles, including combat assault, fire support, anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, search and rescue, and MEDEVAC.
· Eurofighter Typhoon - is a twin-engine canard-delta wing multirole aircraft.
· F-111 Aardvark - a medium range attack and tactical strike aircraft developed in the 1960’s.
· F-117 Nighthawk - a stealth ground attack aircraft formerly operated by the USAF.
· F-15C Eagle - a modern long-range strike fighter used deep in enemy lines.
· F-35 Lightning II - a true multi-role aircraft also capable of carrier based flight.
· MiG-29A Fulcrum - Jet fighter aircraft developed by the Soviet Union in the 1970’s.
· Mirage 2000 - a French built multi-role aircraft now in service in 9 countries.
· Saab JA-37 Viggen - a Swedish single-seat, single-engine, short-medium range fighter and attack aircraft.
· SU-33 Flanker - A Soviet multi-role carrier based fighter aircraft.
· V-22 Osprey - the unusual appearance of this tiltrotor aircraft gives it the capability of vertical lift-off as well as the speed of a turboprop plane.

All of the aircraft also come with advanced animation. This means you can take advantage of features such as main exit openings, secondary exit openings, folding wings, extending tail-hook and swept wings.

Sadly I noticed a few too many bugs with this add-on. Now it might just be my machine, or the review copy, so it's worth double checking before you buy, but I noticed that the F-117 Nighthawk noticeably judders up and down whilst in the air - to the point where it starts to strain your eyes just looking at the horizon. Additionally the AS 565 Panther became very unstable a little too quickly during flight - and once it's out of control it's almost impossible to stop it crashing. Also the Panther's sound is not what it could be. When you increase the throttle speed there is no noticeable change in pitch of the engine.

While you can't grumble at the amount of aircraft you're getting for the price, a little more polish wouldn't have gone amiss. If you take your Flight Sim seriously then I strongly suggest checking this out before you part with your cash. However, for those who are not too hung up on the details, this is a cheap and effective way of adding another 11 modern aircraft to your Flight Sim library.
