There are four different maps that are included in this, the second map pack for Call of Duty: World at War. They include:

Corrosion: A gold ore refinery with lots of places to hide including overhead pipes, holes in walls, mounds of ore positioned in a handy camping spot and several trains which can you can weave between in order to confuse your enemies.

Banzai: An overgrown bridge surrounded by empty wooden buildings and a massive waterfall as well as a fairly large warren of tunnels, which are perfect for flanking. This level makes a good two sided battle - with a team on each side of the bridge fighting for ground as well as the same situation happening at the base of the tunnels. However, once one side has broken through the fighting will start to move around a lot more, taking away that feeling of gaining ground.

Sub pens: A dry dock with a submarine in the middle and a dock on each side. There are lots of different territories to hold, so most battles are broken up into different parts of the map: the submarine in the middle; a room on each side of the dock; and a cleared area by one side of the room which is mirrored on the other side. There are also places at each end of the submarine in a clearing like area joined by two small bridge like floors.

Shi no numa: The best part of this entire map pack is the new nazi zombie’s map, this is for many reason most of which is the new parts added to the game mode which include:

New enemies including Japanese zombies, which walk at you in a martial arts pose, and also hellish dogs which spawn out of bolts of electricity and charge at you whilst on fire. In the later levels these enemies will be your undoing without teamwork and good planning. Another update to zombies is an entirely new weapon made for this map pack known as the wunderwaffe. Once you get past its funny name you realise how much of a god it is - being able to kill as many as 10 zombies at once, you will adore it in the later rounds.

Another thing that is new is the inclusion of characters that you can connect to. There are four different characters that you can play as, but you cannot choose which one you want to play as because they are only assigned to what number your position is - such as player 1 is an American. There are 4 four different characters. Player 1 is an American called Dempsey - a mouthy marine with a happy trigger finger. Player 2 is a Russian called Nikolai who is easy going and not too offensive but gives some twisted jokes which makes you laugh at the strangest of times. Player 3 is Japanese soldier who is fairly quiet and doesn’t talk as much as the others. And finally, Player 4 is a German nazi who is a bit far gone in the sanity department, and will always weird you out with his sadistic comments.

On balance, this map pack is worth the money (800 Microsoft points or £7.99). The biggest thing that this map pack has to offer is the new nazi zombies map which introduces news enemies and a new weapon, but Banzai and Sub pens are maps that take some getting used to - and because of this they are maps that most people will soon add to their 'to skip' list. But the multiplayer maps are not all bad, with Corrosion makes up for the other two because of the fact that it can be incredible fun weaving between the pipes and ambushing your opponents.
