A-Stout is made up of Rootwords from Zambia/USA, LarynX from Ghana and VLM from Mexico. This truly is a multi-national hip-hop group, which formed in Geneva, Switzerland in 2000.

Having toured extensively throughout Europe and released several mix tapes they are no strangers to recording.

‘Drinks’ is the bands debut single, which will hopefully be followed by several more singles before the release of their debut album toward the end of the year.

This is a back to basics hip-hop record. It has everything it should have; beat, attitude, quality rap and a fine tune. Turn the bass up and let this track flow through your veins and take over.

I like the fact that these guys have come together from an array of backgrounds and cultures and made it work. The negatives? Well I wanted more, one song is simply not enough.

I can’t wait for the next fix from this hip-hop crew.
