I Am Giant (IAG) comprise of multi-platinum selling artists Shelton Woolright (drums), Paul Matthews (bass), Max O’Donnell (guitar) and Ed Martin (vocals). Collectively they have supported bands such as Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Deftones, Coldplay, Muse and Snow Patrol to audiences of up to 70,000 strong.

Bringing these four together in IAG brings out an explosion of huge riffs, impressive choruses and superior vocal lines.

‘City Limits’ is the debut EP from IAG consisting of four tracks, each very different in their own right.

This EP starts with the title track ‘City Limits’. It’s a catchy tune and with lyrics such as "Are we living or merely killing time?" IAG certainly reach out to their audiences as most people at one time or another wonder what they are doing with their lives and think that they should get away. Although this all sounds a little depressing, this song brings out the emotion and shows others can feel the same.

I love the opening of ‘Neon Sunrise’ with the drums, guitar riff then the vocals come in making room for the thundering bass guitar. The chorus is catchy and I love the lyrics and vocals to this part.

‘Let It Go’ has a lot of emotion portrayed in the lyrics and the guitar solo. I think everyone at sometime has had the feeling that they just have to let it go, whether that be a family feud or an ex partner. This is truly heartfelt yet urban rock!

‘Living The Crash’ opens with an awesome bassline and melody on the guitar. It’s quite a dark sounding track but so crisp and clean with its tune and beats. This is rock at its best.

IAG are a powerful rock band with an urban twist in their style. Rather than just shouting lyrics these guys actually have good vocals and you can hear the emotion in their voices and music. Fantastic.
