Podgy Figures is not describing some fuller bodied people but is in fact West London’s next big rapper, who used to run his own radio station Podgy 91.5 FM from 2005-2007.

An entrepreneur in the making he even has his own clothing label called ‘Podgy Podg’. Some may say an unfortunate name, others I’m sure will love it.

‘I Want In’ is the brand new single from Podgy which is taken from his forthcoming album Sir Garfield Junior set for release next spring (2010).

There are 4 versions of this track and all are laid out and produced well.

The Full Version is slick, with some phat lyrics; Podgy even gives JK Rowling a mention. The beat is droppin’ and I love the pulsating synth that goes with it. This is a catchy track and the female backing vocals just add to it.

'The Instrumental' version is pretty cool too. This is a tune that can survive without vocals as its dark and sexy.

Picking up the beat is 'The Sticky Remix'; I think this will be a track that the clubs this winter will be playing. It has a certain something about it; it should certainly get people moving to the beat.

'The Remix Instrumental', again, is a good strong track on its own. With such strong rhythm this can hold its own.

I’m sure there are big things to come from Podgy, I just think the name is a little unfortunate but hey you can’t always have everything!
