WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 empowers players more than ever to define their game play experiences in a dynamic and ever-changing WWE. Along the way, game play scenarios will change based on player decisions, allowing for more spontaneous WWE action in and out of the ring. Players will also enjoy a greater level of interactivity and have increased control of their destinies in the game's popular Road to WrestleMania story-driven mode.

The latest addition to the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw franchise is far more than a little tweaking of the previous games. You can play one-off matches against characters of your choosing (and there are so many different fight modes to chose from it's almost insane) or you can jump into a career game, or go online and play against friends of random people.

A new addition to the game is 'WWE Universe' mode. This merges 'Career' and 'Exhibition' modes into a single game.

There's the familiar 'Road to WrestleMania' mode, which is a story-driven mode with new updates and storylines. This also allows you to roam freely through backstage areas, select opponents, break into impromptu matches and fulfil destinies based on player choices.

'The Best-in-Class Creation Tools' have also been revamped allowing you to have more control of the look and feel of your character. Create finishing moves, story designs and use the paint tool to create your own unique character - which you can share online.

In almost every respect this is a better game than the previous installments in the franchise. It looks slicker, the controls are more responsive and it's just a lot more fun to pick up and play.
