Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward make up She & Him with the music and lyrics written by Descahnel and M. Ward producing. In 2008 the duo created a memorable debut album entitled Volume One. It was rich in charming pop songs and led to the pair assembling a live band to perform live and tour from coast to coast. The album also led to them performing on television shows such as Elvis Costello's Spectacle and Late Night With Conan O'Brien.

2010 saw the release of their second LP, Volume Two and She & Him are here again with the release of their next single, 'Thieves', which is the album opener on Volume Two.

Once again, Deschanel's vocals whine out from my speakers and I am left with the reminder of just how sickly sweet this duo are. There's just no oomph to this single and I wish I didn't have to endure the pain of these lyrics "No, that wont stop me crying over you..."

Fortunately, for me, there is only one track on this single to review but for you lucky listeners who decide to part with your well earned money and buy this single on digital download then you will also receive the original She & Him composition 'I Knew It Would Happen This Way' on the b-side.
