The Call (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

John Debney creates a visceral, nasty electronic score for Brad Anderson intense movie. And to be fair, within the confines of the movie, this works well. However, as a standalone score whether you enjoy it will come down whether you enjoy listening to atmospheric material that was created to heighten the tension of the movie.

This is an electronic score, which has some interesting beats - 'The Call - Main Title' being the most standout example. But there's a little too much filler music running throughout this soundtrack to make it an essential purchase for your collection.

While novel, and quirky in its delivery, personally it's not a score I'd want to listen to very often - however, it no doubt compliments the movie wonderfully to offer a more intense viewing experience.

If you're looking for something a little different then you might like to give The Call a listen.
