Lakeshore Records release the various artists soundtrack to A Merry Friggin' Christmas. Boyd and his family are forced to spend a dreaded Christmas at his parents' house with his eccentric father that he has been avoiding for years. When he realizes that he left his son's gifts at home, Boyd and his father must hit the road in a blizzard to retrieve the gifts before sunrise to save Christmas...

The soundtrack to A Merry Friggin' Christmas contains 14 songs (37 min, 08 sec) by various artists. The album covers all musical bases from jazz ('Up on the House') to punk ('Here Comes Santa Claus'); throwing in a little country and western for good measure ('Silent Night'; 'It's Christmastime I Know'). There's quirky, light tracks 'More Than I Wished For' as well as original songs ('Christmas Is For Kids').

Those looking for a new Christmas album that's a little different from the traditional fair on offer should check this out. There's certainly something here for every member of the family.
