Ubisoft Music release Cris Velasco's score for Assassin's Creed Unity: Dead Kings, the latest chapter in Ubisoft's historical action-adventure open world video game series. Set during the French Revolution, Dead Kings is a fully-fledged single-player campaign that continues Master Assassin Arno Dorian's story after the events of Assassin's Creed Unity...

Cris Velasco has just upped the ante for game composers around the world with his incredible score for Assassin's Creed Unity: Dead Kings. It might not be the longest score ever produced (the 11 tracks represent just 22 min, 40 sec of music), but what it lacks in length, it certainly makes up for in quality.

There's no atmospheric filler material here; not a note is wasted on the entire album. In fact, I can't remember the last time I heard a score (for movie or game) that was this impressive.

It's powerful, it's beautiful and it's certainly a score you should pick up. Mind you, this shouldn't be a surprise for anyone who bought Velasco's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine soundtrack.
