Lauren Desberg releases her latest album, Twenty First Century Problems. It's an interesting LP in as much as it repackages and updates the jazz genre and presents it in more of a pop vein. It's a novel approach, and works incredibly well, although obviously it's still more jazz than pop.

Desberg has a wonderful voice, perfect for old style jazz, and it was impressive to see her revamp 'How Deep Is Your Love' with a heavy jazz/pop slant.

The album contains 10 songs (37 min, 08 sec) highlights include the opening track 'Angel Eyes'; the aforementioned 'How Deep is Your Love'; and 'Rock Steady.

It's an interesting, modern jazz album that you might just fall in love with.
