La-La Land Records release Blake Neely's original score for season three of Arrow. Determined to right the wrongs of Starling City and sworn to bring justice to those who have failed it, Oliver Queen (aka The Arrow) - with the help of his iron-fisted right hand, John Diggle, the tech-savvy Felicity Smoak and the newest member of the team, Roy Harper - narrowly defeats the vengeful Slade Wilson, his onetime ally and mentor on the island of Lian Yu. But like all wars, there are casualties. Sacrificing herself for her children, Moira Queen falls at the hand of Deathstroke, sending Oliver's sister, Thea, into self-imposed exile with her biological father, Malcolm Merlyn. In Season Three, Oliver faces an even greater threat, when another lethal face emerges from his dark and tortured past – Ra's Al Ghul...

Blake Neely's score for the third season of Arrow comes in two editions. There's the standard single disc version, and a special 2 CD release - the second CD containing the second part of The Flash Vs Arrow score (part one of this was released with the 2 CD soundtrack release of The Flash: Season 1).

This soundtrack contains 58 tracks (2 hr, 20 min, 30 sec) of which 28 (1 hr, 17 min, 49 sec) are from The Flash score, and the other 30 (1 hr, 02 min, 41 sec) represents part two of The Flash Vs Arrow score.

Once again, as with his work on The Flash: Season 1, and the previous seasons of Arrow, Neely turns in an impressive array of themes. Very little is repeated and I was actually surprised at the quality as well as quantity of interesting themes.

A word of caution. When buying this online (especially the digital download edition) it's not overly clear whether you're just buying the 1 or 2 disc edition. The best way to ensure you get the bonus material is to buy the scores from La-La Land Records (www.lalalandrecords.com).
