From the desert oranges and dusky reds of Journey, to the shadowy emeralds and indigo jungles of Uncharted, let your creativity roam free. Now it is your turn to colour some of Playstation's best-loved games as you imagine them. This book contains images from 16 Playstation games old and new including Lemmings, WipEout, Ape Escape,, God of War and many more...

Art for the Players represents a bit of strange mix of styles. The line drawings are, for the most part, crude and sparse in detail, making it ideal for a young child's colouring book. However, there are a few too many images from 18+ rated games. And did we really need four images for Ape Escape, but none for Tomb Raider or Crash Bandicoot - games that were instrumental in securing the Playstation's popularity in the early years?

I was also unsure what the criteria for choosing the games included was. How/why did the author pick these games above many others? Why not have less images from each game and choose many more games?

There seem to be wasted pages too, with Playstation symbols filling up an entire page, whilst some repeat images but with a very slight difference. Flicking through the book I honestly can't say that there's anything here that will grab the attention of an adult colourer.

This is a simple book for the younger gamer.
