It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself...?

Following the death of the Earth's greatest protector, Superman, intelligence officer Amanda Waller talks the powers that be into letting her assemble a team of dangerous criminals, to be known as Task Force X. The idea is that they will be trained to combat any threat to the planet. But when their formation actually creates the very threat Waller hoped to avoid, they are rushed into combat before they're really ready.

If, like me, you've started to become more than a little bored of Marvel's rather formulaic superhero movies, then Suicide Squad is like a breath of fresh air. Not only does it turn everything on its head (here we have some of DCs most iconic villains forced to work together) but it has just the right balance between action and comedy.

Will Smith's Deadshot, is easily this movie's standout character, closely followed by Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. Jared Leto also turns in a fine performance as The Joker, which is rather impressive when you consider he doesn't actually say or do much.

It's a fun movie as long as you suspend disbelief for the entire duration and don't think to hard about the plot - otherwise you'll start to pick massive holes in it.

The only extra is a Gag Reel (2 min).
