Peppermint Heaven release their new CD, Precious Things. The album contains 11 tracks (40 min, 32 sec) and almost each track will bring to mind various artists and singles from bands that were once playing live (?) on Top of the Pops. A-Ha, Johnny Hates Jazz, The Thompson Twins, The Cutting Crew... bands that at the time, were seen as a little twee. But equally, there are moments of David Bowie, Morrissey, Erasure and Pet Shop Boys.

It's a lovingly crafted, diverse sounding album that is well worth getting hold of...
