Lakeshore Records release Mark Isham's score for Mechanic: Resurrection. When the deceitful actions of a cunning but beautiful woman force him to return to the life he left behind, Bishop's life is once again in danger as he has to complete an impossible list of assassinations of the most dangerous men in the world...

Mark Isham delivers some beautiful themes for Mechanic: Resurrection. It's not really an album of impressive wall to wall action themes, more a collection of atmospheric suspense music peppered with lots of little moments.

The album contains 21 tracks (1 hr, 12 min, 06 sec) and it actually feels like a modern James Bond score. There's no getting bored here as Isham never lets you get comfortable with a piece of music before he's off on another tangent. This is one of the strengths here as it means you can also play this (loudly) while playing console games. I found it particularly atmospheric while playing the latest Call of Duty game.

Fans of action/suspense scores will find much to enjoy here.
