Hannah Read, under the moniker Lomelda, releases here new album, Thx. It's a trippy, album that straddles the line between folk, and indie pop (if you want a pigeonhole to stick this in). The end result is like a comforting, warm blanket. But this won't be to everyone's taste.

It took me a few listens to get to grips with it. On the first play through I really wasn't sure if I liked it or not. Tracks like 'Thx' are not comfortable to listen to as the singing and music clash a little.

But, the majority of the album is not unlike listening to an updated '90s indie pop album. Like a cross between The Cardigans, The Breeders and The Cranberries.

The album contains 10 songs (33 min, 54 sec) and was interesting enough to keep my attention, but probably not one that I'll be listening to very often in the future.
