It has been eleven years since Urbs released his last album, Toujours Le Meme Film, the soundtrack to a fictitious Film Noir. After touring Europe he almost completely retreated from public life. He does not consider his creativity as being his career, but rather as a part of his life which rarely is subject to concrete planning, and that is why Urbs quite consciously took his time to create his latest album...

Urbs latest, untitled album was certainly worth the wait. Over the course of these 12 tracks (CD / digital album) - or 13 tracks (45 min, 37 sec) if you pick up the LP - we are treated to some impressive soulful hip hop tunes. Urbs creates the tunes and then surrenders them (somewhat reluctantly) to MCs to bring their own interpretation to his work.

The results speak for themselves. This is a wonderfully upbeat and up to date hip hop project that has something for everyone.
