Varèse Sarabande release the original soundtrack to the game Tooth and Tail, composed by Austin Wintory. Lead the revolution with an army of flamethrowing Boars, mustard gas-lobbing Skunks, and paratrooper-puking Owls. in the Real-Time-Strategy game. Build a base, lead your army, eat your enemies! The War for Meat - The Longcoats, the Commonfolk, the KSR, and the Civilized are in the midst of a Civil War over who gets to eat, and who has to be the meat...

Austin Wintory delivers some interesting themes for Tooth and Tail. While it might not be to everyone's taste, you can't argue that the diversity of tracks is impressive, and it certainly helps to add the right atmosphere for the game.

Personally, I didn't get on with the tracks that incorporated the sounds of the masses singing out of tune like a crowd of drunk pirates, but to be fair these segments are fairly short.

The album contains 23 tracks (1 hr, 05 min, 14 sec) and is an amusing, upbeat score that will have those that have played the game grinning from ear to ear.

For me it was an interesting curiosity. I did enjoy Wintory's work here, I'm just not sure that I'd want to listen to it that often for pleasure. This is perhaps one for lovers of the game only.
