It's a brave group of musicians that take on such a diverse collection of some of the world's most beloved songs and deliver jazz style interpretations on saxophone and gospel organ. Who would think that songs like 'Mack the Knife', 'Amazing Grace', and 'Over the Rainbow' would sit comfortably together? Oddly enough they do. But it's not an album for everyone.

This LP contains 8 songs (49 min, 29 sec) and while I found it a fun diversion, it's not one I'll be digging out very often.

Jazz fans will find it an interesting novelty to add to their collection.
