Manudigital is a beatmaker, bassist and producer who specializes in digital reggae. Bringing soundsystem, bass and dancehall back around to young future and tech obsessed new generations seems to be his ever-expanding conquest. Being involved in music for more than 15 years now also as a widely respected composer, he participates in the recording of many international albums and singles. Bass Attack is his second solo LP, following on from his 2016 debut album Digital Pixel...

If you're a fan of reggae you'll love this. If you're a fan of dub you'll love this. In fact if you've got ears you'll love this. No one in their right mind should turn their nose up at what Manudigital has lovingly crafted here. Over the course of 14 tracks (52 min, 57 sec) he gets under your skin and you can't help but be swept up in the beat. He also drafts in some of reggae's finest, including General Degree, who performs two songs.

Bass Attack opens with 'Ruff it Up', pretty much setting the scene for what is to come. There's a loving fusion of dance music, dubstep, '90s 8-bit handheld game effects, all given a lovingly tender reggae twist.

While as a whole this album is a winner, personal favourite tracks include 'Ruff it Up'; the frenetic 'Winner'; and 'Reach The Sky'.
