Experience a new story in the world of the BAFTA-winning, critically acclaimed videogame Life is Strange, as Max and Chloe return to Arcadia Bay to face an impossible decision - with truly epic consequences. Following on from one possible ending of the much-loved game, this all-new story, Life is Strange: Dust, finds aspiring photographer Max Caulfield and best friend Chloe Price struggling to build a new life, one year after the shocking events of the storm that swept through Arcadia Bay. When Max seemingly starts travelling in time without her knowledge or control, she and Chloe must return to where their journey began - to uncover the truth, set things right, and confront the ghosts of the past...!

Life is Strange: Dust takes us on a journey to discover one possible future that could have developed after the events that took place in the console game Life is Strange. It's not overly important that you've played the game to enjoy this graphic novel, but it is useful in filling in all the details you'll need to fully appreciate the storyline. Without the knowledge of some of the characters from the game you won't be able to appreciate the full impact of some of the events that unfold here. As long as you have a basic understanding of the game's story (which can be found online) you'll be able to pick this up without any issues.

For those that can't get enough of the Max/Chloe relationship, this adds a little more to their story. A year after the events that took place in the first season of the game, Max and Chloe have left Arcadia Bay and are living in Seattle. They have a new group of friends and life is looking good, but when the timeline starts to fluctuate and Chloe momentarily appears to have been wiped out of existence, the two decide to go back to Arcadia Bay. Max is drawn back home, believing that whatever is going on is focused there... But can they discover what is going on before old dead friends come back to life and Chloe is wiped from their timeline forever?

Emma Vieceli pens an engaging tale here. It certainly feels like a continuation of the events that unfolded in the game. Artist Claudia Leonardi gives us a fresh interpretation of the dynamic duo which works well here. In addition we get a cover gallery and character sketches.

If you loved the game and always wondered what happened to Max and Chloe, then this collection will give you a look at one possible timeline.
