Katamari Damacy: Reroll is not a game I would normally play. The repetitive nature and general lack of any motivation to progress was a real sticking point for me.

Basically all you do is roll around the environment and as you rumble over items they get stuck to you, making your mass ever bigger. Obviously bigger items help you bulk up quicker... but it's mostly a slow old grind to complete each level. I have to admit that if I'd bought this, and wasn't reviewing it, I probably would have quit after the first level.

There's a somewhat fun party element in the ability to go head to head with your friends... but it gets old really quickly.

If rolling around collecting things sounds like fun to you, then you'll be guffawing for weeks...

Everyone else will probably be left scratching their heads wondering what on earth this is all about - especially for £25.
