Celebrate Bungie's 30th Anniversary with a new dungeon, the Gjallarhorn Exotic Rocket Launcher, Thorn armor set, and an arsenal of weapons, gear, and cosmetics inspired by Bungie’s past...
Destiny 2 is a free-to-play online-only multiplayer first-person shooter that's been around since 2017, when it used the pay to play model, before becoming free in 2019. For a four year old game it's still pretty current, thanks in the most part down to the fact that the developers are constantly releasing expansions. I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of this model the DLC ends up costing a lot if you buy all of the releases. You could argue that it's cheaper and better than buying the same old game that's constantly tweaked with each release - like the Call of Duty franchise.
Even so, the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack is a little expensive for what it is. £22 for a new dungeon, armour and weapons seems a little steep, especially if like me those things don't really matter to you. There's more than enough weapons floating about in the game and cosmetic upgrades are of no real interest to me. While this DLC isn't for me, I'm reviewing this pack bearing in mind that it's a welcome release if you are a huge fan of the game. If you're a miserable sod, like me, you don't have to buy this and can simply enjoy the core free game and be thankful for it. The addition of this sort of DLC is what keeps the fan base coming back, which in turn keeps the game alive. It's also a great way to reward the developers who work hard behind the scenes coming up with great content. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
