Step into the town of Porcupine and take to the well-loved scrubs of Finley, the newest fledgling doctor to join the ranks of St. Ursula's hospital. As the seasons in the small-town change and life starts to stir, you'll soon realize that things aren't always what they seem: Not everyone is honest with themselves and others, the healthcare industry is not as illustrious as it seemed in medical school, and the work/life balance Finley strives toward might be impossible to achieve...

Play as Finley, a new trainee doctor at St. Ursula's hospital

Fall of Porcupine is an engaging story adventure that sees you take on the role of Finley, a new trainee doctor at St. Ursula's hospital in the sleepy town of Porcupine.

The game rewards those who enjoy exploring every nook and cranny and love adventures heavy on dialogue. While there's no voice acting here (everything is conveyed through speech bubbles) the early segment of the game may put action seekers off. The start of the game sees you exploring the town, as you make your way to your first day at the hospital. You meet a few locals on your travels and once you get to the hospital you may at first be a little overwhelmed with what you're supposed to do and where you have to go. The facility's receptionist helps and it soon becomes clear that your best course of action, if you want to get to the right place quickly, is to take the lift. This will ensure that you're sent to the right floor to continue your quest.

Your first day sees you playing mini games in a bid to administer the correct treatment for each patient. Then, after your first day, it's time to head home. I have to admit that this wasn't the most exciting introduction I've ever played, but as I began to get to know the town and the characters I soon realised its warmed to its charm. But everything is not as bright and positive as it first appears. Underneath the surface a dark, unsettling truth is hiding.

I found this to be an interesting, if slightly drawn out, game that will please those who like to really immerse themselves in a game's background and main narrative. The puzzle mini games are a little hit and miss, but overall I enjoyed my visit to Porcupine.
