Nikoderiko: The Magical World is a platform game with a lot of heart. You can choose to play on your own, or team up with a friend in couch co-op as you run, jump, ground pound, slide and ride as the treasure-hunting mongoose Niko and Luna.

The game sees you visit seven worlds from the depths of the Dry Sea, the frosty climes of Snowland, and the mystery of Magic Wood. Embark on minecart rides, wild chases, underwater odysseys, and even classic 3D segments. There are also special animal friends you can summon to help you get to new places. You can also use their special attacks against your enemies. Charge foes with Boaris the Boar, hop on Todd the Toad for lofty leaps and venom attacks, gallop into subaquatic action with Oceanis the Seahorse, or get prehistoric by chewing up enemies with Dino.

This is one of those games you can play at your own pace. Blast through it, racing through the levels, or take your time and ensure you pick up every collectable and explore every hidden area.

I found this to be a fun, engaging platformer which brings lots to the table. It's just as fun for adults as it is for kids. A thoroughly enjoyable game.
