Embrace your swashbuckling spirit to become the ruler of the seas

Trident’s Tale is a pirate-based third-person action adventure game. Learn and master magic and embrace your swashbuckling spirit to become the ruler of the seas.

Engage in naval battles, where every cannon shot and manoeuvre counts. Upgrade and customise your ship to suit your play style, and engage in duels against rival pirates, sea monsters, and more. Stop off at islands, each of which are host to secrets, treasures, and challenges. Uncover hidden dungeons, solve cunning riddles, and loot rare treasures to power up your crew. Recruit a colourful cast of characters, each with unique abilities, and personalities. Level up your crew, unlock powerful skills, and create the ultimate pirate team.

The game slowly unfolds as you progress to introduce you, gently, to the gaming mechanics. In this way, younger gamers are not overwhelmed with the sheer amount of tasks and locations the game has to offer.

Beware the ocean is treacherous and crawling with danger at every turn

At its core, this is a third-person platformer, with navel battles which help keep the gameplay fresh and exciting.

If I had any complaints, it's that it doesn't take long to tire of the repetitive nature of the enemies you face. Also, and this isn't overly important, but some of the voice acting is pretty bad.

As an adventure for younger gamers, this is pretty much perfect. Just don't expect too much from it if you're a more seasoned gamer.
