Mortanis Prisoners is a survival horror shooter set in a Nazi concentration camp. After a planned rebellion is discovered, the leadership orders mass executions. The environments are creepy and atmospheric

Mortanis Prisoners has potential yet it never quite manages to live up to expectations.

It's part puzzle game, part first person shooter (FPS), yet neither element really exploits the full potential of either genre. The puzzles are fairly simple and the FPS segments of the game are too spaced out and too simple to complete.

The environments are creepy and atmospheric and, for the most part the levels are well designed. It's just that for such an interesting scenario very little really happens. It's very much a case of find a puzzle, locate the elements needed to complete that puzzle, whilst all the while shooting the occasional collection of monsters that amble towards you.

For the RRP this is certainly worth a look. Just don't be expecting too much and you won't be disappointed.
