Fred is stuck in a dead-end job, trapped in a cycle of dissatisfaction. He hates his work, he hates his boss, and his life feels like one long, constant disappointment. But everything changes one late night during his shift. As he drifts through the monotony, a voice on the radio cuts through the silence, offering him something he’s longed for: freedom. The voice tells him that his escape is waiting at a distant lighthouse, a beacon calling out to him from the darkness. There are some jump scares, but they not overly scary

The Green Light is a first-person horror game, well the developers claim it's a horror game, but I'd disagree. It's more a suspenseful mystery puzzle game. Yes, there are some jump scares but they are not overly scary. In fact they are totally unnecessary and I'm still not sure I agree with the 7+ age rating that's listed on the Playstation Store page.

In reality this is a walking sim game with a few light puzzles. It's not overly difficult, but the mysterious element makes you want to keep playing to find out what on earth is going on in the game's world.

For £4 you really can't go wrong. Fans of suspenseful light puzzle games will find this an interesting release.
