They are the World's greatest super heroes. But the members
of the fabled Justice League of America are about to learn
they aren't the only ones who can band together toward a common
goal. The deadliest criminal masterminds of our time appear
to be acting in concert - with a surprising plan that seeks
to achieve more good than the JLA ever could...
Justice:
Volume 1 sees
the members of the Justice League of America discovering that
an army of super villains has banded together to perform great
acts of heroism.
Just
why are these super villains starting to atone for their crimes?
- seeding deserts, healing the sick and promising much, much
more. Meanwhile, a series of surgical strikes cripples the
JLA. But is Lex Luthor's attempt to discredit and destroy
the JLA just another sick plan? Or are his nightmares of Armageddon
due to come true?
This
collection opens with an interesting introduction by Jim Krueger
about the mind of the villain and how in their eyes, they
are the good guys.
There
are quite a few addition pages in this collection which come
under the heading "From Bruce Wayne's private files in
the Batcomputer". These show rough sketches and panels
from the pages of Justice, which are accompanied by
explanatory text.
Another
interesting collection, which puts a twist on an old theme.
One thing is certain though, you'll never see villains in
the same light again.
