The World's greatest superheroes are about to face the deadliest
alliance of super villains the world has ever seen. It's the
ultimate face-off of good vs. evil in a battle for the fate
of the planet. And in order for the members of the fabled
Justice League of America to have a chance of defeating their
adversaries, they must make a radical change in their appearances.
But will it be enough?...
Volume
3 of
the Justice series of graphic novels sees the final
hardcover collection of the lushly illustrated maxi-series
by Alex Ross, Jim Krueger and Doug Braithwaite. This edition
collects issues #9-12. The Super-Villains' plot to exploit
the innocent thickens as the heroes discover that it may even
affect their comrades, colleagues and co-combatants.
With
Lex Luthor's plan - and Brainiac's betrayal - revealed, the
world's heroes must regroup and launch an all-out assault
on the headquarters of a huge society of supervillains, in
order to free the world from their grasp. Master tactician
Batman has a plan... but will any heroes survive long enough
to put it into action?
As
with the previous two volumes, Volume 3 also comes
with a few extras including a sketchbook and several pages
entitled From Bruce Wayne's Private Files in the Batcomputer
which contain further information.
For
those that have been collecting this series, the final instalment
makes for a satisfying conclusion. The artwork is just as
beautiful as we've come to expect and this is one collection
that any serious comics fan should own.
