Have you been waiting for the release of Spielberg's Night

book kicks off in the right gear with a bitter and depressing
foreword by H.R. Giger (the man responsible for providing
Hollywood the designs for Alien) He claims that Hollywood
do not respect the talent of the designer as well as they
should and goes on to state that Alien is the only
film he has been proud to be a part of.
There
are a few entries which have done the rounds for years. For
example there can't be anyone who hasn't heard some word on
Philip Kaufman's original plans for the Star Trek: The
Motion Picture. And with Fox due to release Dune: The
mini-series over here soon there can't be a Frank Herbert
fan left who hasn't heard the author's famous quote: "A
lot of people have tried to film Dune. They all failed."
But
