When the gorgeous Abbey Chase is recruited by the secret spy
agency known as Danger Girl, she starts to wonder whether
she has bitten off more than she can chew. This collection
of super bright, super strong, super fit girls are on a mission
to rid the world of evil...
Danger
Girl is
one of the funniest and sexiest graphic novels to be released
in recent years. There is barely a page that won't have you
laughing. OK, so there is plenty of semi-naked women doing
provocative things throughout this novel (wearing skimpy uniforms
and transparent dresses with plunging neck lines), but this
hardly detracts from the main storyline. And the majority
of the time the Danger Girl's use their femininity at some
sad middle aged blokes expense.
There
is the James Bond spoof character Johnny Barracuda who is
a ruggedly handsome spy who loves himself, as well as a stream
of rather sad male villains who are dazzled by the Danger
Girls good looks.
This
is fun from start to finish and will keep many comic fan amused
for ages.
Titan
(bless 'em) have done a fantastic job as far as presentation
is concerned. This hardback novel comes with a gorgeously
raised glossy cover and have also included a bookmark to help
you keep your place.
If
all graphic novels were designed like this then the comics
industry would be a better place.
