if The Monarchy: Bullets Over Broadway is to be believed,
it's nasty stuff. You don't want to be around when it happens.
It
all starts with one hell of a party. but as with any good
time bash there's always the hangover, but you've never had
one like this before. Fortunately, there's a transdimensional
team of good guys out there that aim to put the real back
into reality.
The
Monarchy: Bullets Over Broadway is not entirely successful
but we can forgive it its lapses - the faux lesbian stuff
in the bath is a bit tired - because when it gets it right
it does it with such elan and panache its failings are easily
overlooked. Well structured, nicely paced and boasting some
sharp writing, the Monarchy is crowned with some pretty mighty
jewels.
