The Dark Knight is still on the run, after his alter ego -
millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne - was convicted of the murder
of socialite Vesper Fairchild. Now, Batman is alienating both
friends and long-term allies, as his driven quest for justice
in Gotham seems to be completely destroying the man behind
the mask...
Fugitive:
Volume 2 sees
the conclusion of this two book collection (three if you include
the original Bruce Wayne: Murderer?). But the final
pages
will leave those who don't have a thorough knowledge of the
history of Batman scratching their heads, but true Bat fans
will no doubt be impressed.
One
slight complaint was the amount of story filling going on
in the first half of this graphic novel. While the drug running
story was interesting it wasn't really progressing the main
plot at all and only seemed to be included to stretch out
the narrative for as long as possible.
A
cheap and cheerful reprint ensures that you can pick this
collection up for less that a tenner. Not an essential purchase,
but a good collection that will please Batman fans.
