In
Mega-City One, some cases are too bizarre for even the feared
Judges to crack. That's when they call for Psi Division, the
elite psychic department of the Judiciary - and Psi's top
judge, Cassandra Anderson...
Triad
is a collection of different stories all written by Alan Grant.
While all are pretty good tales in their own right, it is
the artwork that stands out. All the stories have fantastically
detailed black and white renderings that help to sell this
collection as a quality book.
But
there is something missing. All of the stories seem a little
too similar and they all conclude just as the action starts
to get interesting. While these stories may have worked well
as shorts in 2000AD, they don't stand up too well when
read as a collection. Triad
is the only worthwhile addition to this collection, but even
that is a little too short.
If
you are after a lightweight read then this is perfect, but
for those who like a little more meat to their comics you
should look elsewhere.
While
aesthetically pleasing, this is a mildly disappointing release.
