yet another classic collector's edition of stories lifted
from old 2000AD progs.
Newbies
to the world of Slaine may be eased into his universe
by the fact that this story bears more than a passing resemblance
to the Stargate SG-1 universe (or the other way around
seeing as how this was published years before SG-1 was
conceived.) There
is more than a slight feel to it of ancient Egyptian mythology
and this adds greatly to this collection.
Yet
again Titan have done a fantastic repro job and the covers
for these collection have to be about the sexiest ever seen
on a comic book.
What
more can I say? If you are a Slaine fan then you have
to buy this and if you aren't, you won't go near it with a
barge pole. Personally, I haven't had such a trip down memory
lane since... the last collector's edition was released.
