Defending one Earth is difficult enough, but imagine what
it's like having to protect an infinite number of them. That's
the task for the JLA and the JSA in Crisis
on Multiple Earths...
Volume
two in this series reprints some of the classic alternate
universe stories of the Justice League of America and the
Justice Society of America.
The
stories in this collection are taken from comics that were
originally printed in the 1960's and 1970's and they show
it too. The artwork is simple and crude in places, but it's
the scripts that really show their age - You can almost hear
the creaking as you turn the pages.
While
they may seem a little dated by today's standards, you have
to bear in mind that these stories were, in their day, quite
original and thrilling.
This
is an interesting collection, but probably one that will only
appeal to the older generation who fancy a trip down memory
lane.
