the second volume of original stories from The Chronicles
of Conan series. This collection represents a mix of stories.
Some are based on Robert E. Howard's writing - designed to
fit into his story arcs - while others are original stories
written in house.
This
collection brings together issues 9-13 (as well as issue 16)
of the original comics. Again fully restored text and remastered
colour gives this book a great look.
It
looks and reads great, but whether or not it will appeal to
the new generation of comicbook fans is questionable.
As
in the last volume, there are several pages written by Roy
Thomas on his memories from the time, which makes for entertaining
reading.
One
for true comic fans who will appreciate a slice of classic
story telling.
