The
Flash has opposed many costumed criminals in his career but
when they team up, under the control of a new criminal known
as Blacksmith, things go from tough to impossible. And when
the artificial intelligence known as the Thinker makes his
presence known, the Flash finds himself in the crossfire between
the two sets of villains. Can the fastest man alive outrace
or outthink someone in his own mind?...
Crossfire
sees
Keystone City under attack - with all of its residents incapacitated.
A mysterious super villain is tapping into the minds of the
locals in order to store information in their brains. But
what is he storing? Also, who
is the new Trickster on the streets? And what on earth does
Clifford Devoe, aka The Thinker, really want from The Flash?
This
collection has so many subplots that it's almost difficult
to unravel the main plot. Now, this is not a complaint, far
from it - these subplots help to keep the action thick and
fast.
The
script weaves masterfully between each mini-story, with an
almost cinematic feel to it. And the artwork is also above
average.
Crossfire
will not only appeal to fans of The Flash, but will also be
enjoyed by comic readers who like an engaging story.
