Blaster finds himself on the wrong end of new Autobot commander
Grimlock's attentions. Opposed to Grimlock's leadership, Blaster
and Goldbug are on the run from friend and foe alike, accused
of betraying their fellow Autobots. With the forces of RAAT
(Rapid Anti-Robot Assault Team). Special Teams - the Combaticons
and the Protectobots - and the Transformers' spaceship, the
Ark, also in hot pursuit. Earth is no longer a safe place
to be...
Treason
is
another chapter in the seemingly never ending saga of the
Transformers. It's starting to get to the point where I couldn't
care whether the Decipticons triumph over the Transformers
or not (obviously they don't).
This
collection is only really going to appeal to die-hard fans
of the series. At £15 this seems a little over priced
for what you get. While the reprint is fine, the original
wasn't up to that much anyway. There is a poor use of colour
and some of the art work is extremely crude.
The
script is fine, for the most part, but this is still just
a kids (and kids who are a little too fanboyish for their
own good) comic. Sadly, most of today's kids have grown up
on more mature material and so this is really left to those
30-somethings who want to relive their childhood.
Think
very carefully before parting with your money.
