From the Silver Age of comics comes another superhero saga
of epic proportions. The Justice League of America and the
Justice Society of America battle aliens, Nazis and innumerable
other threats to free society across a host of parallel Earths,
alternate universes and every imaginable dimension in between...
Volume
three of Crisis on Multiple Earths sees another collection
of classic tales from the early 1970s. As with the previous
volumes in this series it will probably only appeal to those
who want to relive their childhood. Anyone coming to this
afresh, will probably be disappointed at how dated the stories
are.
Unlike
today's comics - which are a lot more mature - this collection
was originally aimed at kids. And so it will be no surprise
to learn that it is not going to tax the old grey matter in
any significant way.
If
you want to see some old JLA and JSA stories, then this is
well worth picking up for a quick read, just don't expect
it to entertain too much.
