Tired of the seemingly endless civil war on Cybertron, Fortress

by Fire is
the latest Transformers graphic novel to be released
by Titan Books. I've said this before, and I'll say it again...
this is really only a collection for those who want to relive
their youth. It's not really going to appeal to the younger,
new generation of comic readers - there are just way too many
other much better collections out there.
What
it does do though is take the reader back to a simpler time.
A lot of the art work not only brought back happy memories
for me, but I also noticed how this is very much a product
of its time - a lot of the illustrations looked a lot like
they were from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
While
this is an intelligent and well illustrated collection, you
might want to have a quick flick through it before you purchase
it. You may discover that this is a collection well worth
picking up, or you may realise that maybe your childhood should
stay exactly where it is - in the past.
