Hawkman seizes control of the JSA and brings them to the turbulent
Middle East where an epic battle, a long time in the making,
is finally waged. The resolution will not be easy or pain-free,
but it must be done...

Reign is
not only a very impressive JSA collection, but it's
also one of the best illustrated I've read.
Sadly
though, the deciding factor on whether or not you enjoy this
will depend greatly on whether you are a JSA fan or
not. If you've never managed to get into the characters then
this is not the best place to start. While this collection
is certainly a lot less dry than your usual JSA tale,
it will still be pretty hard going for novices.
For
JSA fans then this is the business. It certainly ranks
in my list of all time favourites - even though I'm more of
a JLA fan.
At
the end of the day, this has a cracking plot, fantastic illustrations
and some damn sexy characters. What more could you ask for?
