Metropolis has been through the proverbial wringer, recently
being restored to its natural lustre as the city of tomorrow.
But its protector, Superman, is missing and its populace -
including his wife, Lois Lane - have no clue where he is.
Somehow, the Man of Steel finds himself on his native world
of Krypton, with new powers emerging. What is Kal-El accused
of, and how can he escape alive and find his way back to Earth?...
Superman
is back on Krypton. He has a wife and a menial job working
for the government. How can this be? Is this a parallel universe
version of our Man of Steel, or a dream? These questions,
and many others are tackled in this fantastically plotted
tale.
Titan
certainly pushed the boat out when it came to the presentation
of Godfall. Beautiful glossy pages make this a highly
sought after collection. If you've already read this story
when it was originally released in comic book form, then you
will no doubt be eager to own this much classier version.
The
artwork is fantastic and fans will be glad to hear that there
is also a cover gallery at the back of this collection - which
includes the original pencil drawings and the finished inked
and coloured results. There are also some rough sketches which
help to add extra value to this beautiful collection. It doesn't
get much better than this.
