10 Book Two is
one of those genres that you are either going to love or loath.
Part Judge Dredd, part The New Statesmen there
is plenty of scope here for Alan Moore to let his mind run
riot and it does with great results.
But
there is a slight drawback in that Moore sometimes paints
his characters into corners and then forgets about them. King
Peacock's Gladiator story arc disintegrates just as he is
about to go head-to-head with some of the meanest fighters
in the galaxy. And the next we hear of him he is back at Precinct
10 with no explanation (obviously he won).
Titan
have produced a nicely presented book to match the quality
of it awesome Danger Girl series. You get a nice glossy
cover, ribbon bookmark and nice glossy pages of beautifully
reproduced artwork.
This
is an enjoyable series, but a little more polish could have
been added to spruce proceedings up a little.
Oh,
and if you are the sort of person who gets of on women snogging
dogs then you are in for a treat.
