While
on a school trip in Metropolis the Gen Thirteen superteam
experience first hand the awesome power of Superman in battle.
Unfortunately one of their members gets a little too close
and is knocked out by our flying hero...
Nice
twist to have the practically indestructible leader of the
Gen Thirteen team believe she is Supergirl. The plot is well
structured and the art work is above average. However this
is a little expensive for such a short graphic novel and for
the asking price you would be forgiven for wanting a slightly
better quality of paper.
This
is not a bad book by any stretch of the imagination and it
manages, quite nicely, to take the Mickey out of both Superman
and Gen Thirteen.
One
for die hard fans and those passionate about comic books.
Not for the casual reader.
