The
Joker and The Penguin try to crash in on a crooked counterfeiting
scheme only to be foiled by the dynamic trio of Batman, Robin
and Scooby-Doo! But the conniving criminals return to try
and steal a flying suit until Scooby-Doo and the gang prove
that with a little Bat-help, they have what it takes to bring
the sky-high scoundrels back to earth...
Scooby-Doo
Meets Batman is a collection of two Scooby-Doo
adventures in which the members of Mystery Inc. join forces
with Batman and Robin to help foil the crimes of two of Batman's
greatest foes. Sadly, both of these 40 minute episodes are
interchangeable and there really is very little difference
between the two. That's not to say that they aren't any good
though.
The
usually corny jokes are present and correct, and this is an
entertaining collection, but most adults who grew up on a
healthy diet of Scooby-Doo may find that these episodes
haven't stood the test of time as well as they thought.
This
collection should keep the majority of children entertained
for the duration, but don't be surprised if they get up and
wander off before the first episode is over. Entertaining,
but only just.
